The 73% // Senior Thesis
The fear of public speaking is one of the most common phobias ahead of death, spiders, or heights. The National Institute of Mental Health reported that Public Speaking Anxiety, or Glossophobia, affects roughly 73% of the population.
The 73%, normalizes Public Speaking Anxiety and helps those that are affected, come to terms with and even overcome their fear. In order to help normalize Glossophobia, the stickers are there to show just how common it really is. Majority of the time we forget that there are people in the audience with the same anxiety. The note cards feature different symptoms that come with Public Speaking Anxiety and provide helpful tips to manage symptoms.
The main message behind The 73%, is that Glossophobia is very common. Become an ally, be the one they can look to in the crowd
